Earthquake Strengthening & Fit-out
This project involved the installation of structural steel for a commercial building, followed by alterations to the layout to meet the landlord's requirements. The addition of storage, an accessible ramp, and display cabinetry were included in the new layout. The project encountered challenges due to COVID-related supply chain issues. Despite these challenges, the team was able to complete the project within the original programme with only a three-week delay.
The project was managed by Arrowsmith, who worked closely with the landlord to ensure that the final design met their requirements. The team installed the structural steel with ease and then worked to source the necessary materials for the plasterboard. Through their expertise and negotiation skills, they were able to minimize the delay caused by the supply chain issues.
Once the required materials were on-site, the team completed the remainder of the works to programme. The final result was a commercial building that met the landlord's needs and was finished to a high standard.
